Jordan's state grain buyer has purchased about 60,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in an international tender for up to 120,000 tonnes which closed on Wednesday, traders said. It was bought at $218 a tonne c&f for shipment in the second half of July.

Traders said these other offers were also submitted in the tender in dollars a tonne c&f: CHS $223.24, Cerealcom Dolj $256, Glencore $220.69, Bunge $222, Cofco $224, Soufflet $223.73, GTCS $221.50, Olam $224 and Hakan $229.
